Watercolor on Yupo

Watercolor on Yupo is fun and easy to work with to create very unique paintings. It is ideal for the artist who may be afraid to try watercolor for the first time or an artist who has been using oil as their medium. Yupo makes it possible to paint using watercolor without fear of mistakes. It allows the artist  to make corrections unlike traditional watercolor paper. Thus the artist is able to wipe the paint off the (waterproof) Yupo paper and begin again until you have created that perfect masterpiece you desire.

 Batik on Rice Paper

Skillet Watercolor batik on Rice Paper is a fun and creative way to produce rich looking sophisticated watercolor painting. It is a process of reserving white and lights through alternating application of wax and watercolor. The painting continues until the entire page is covered with wax at which point the wax is heat removed leaving only a wonderful painting. The paintings are layered with color for a look of depth. It is amazing to see the results you will get with the artistic process.

Check thrift stores for old electric skillets and iron.
